By law, you are required to carry chains in your vehicle when traveling the mountains in winter months, even if they are not required to be worn. Highway patrol may stop you at any time to confirm that chains are in your vehicle. Vehicles with 4-wheel drive also need to carry chains. Check-in time is 4pm or later. To check-in, you will need the code to the lockbox which houses the key for the front door. You should have received that prior to your arrival. If not, text 951-401-0494 and ask for the code. Before you leave, please make sure to put the key back into the lockbox for the next guest. Check-out time is 11am. Please make sure to vacate by that time as we do have a limited time for housekeeping to clean before the next guests.
Yes, the deposit is 10% at the time of reservation. The balance will be due 2 weeks prior to arrival date.
Typically it snows between November and March but can start as early as October and as late as June. Check the weather for up to date information: https://tinyurl.com/LHweather
All reservations are fully refundable up to 2 weeks before arrival date. If cancelling within that 2 week window, the fees are non-refundable. Please call the office to cancel.

Yes, the lake is open for public use and free to access. Swimming is allowed within 50 feet of shoreline.
